Good Music - Villagers

Coner O' Brien has brought forth to us his band (sometimes one man band) 'Villagers'. He recently made a show stealing appearance on the ever popular Jools Hooland 'Later with...'.  Check out this video and you may well understand why.

Wiley - My Mistakes (Dyester Remix)

I made this a while back but it's gotta be one of my favourite tunes from the old personal collection.  I've made an accompanying video to the song that you can find on the 'Peep The Traces' blog (link at side of page), but for here and now, enjoy in an audio fashion.

More Good Music - This time it's Rusko

Here for you to digest is the latest tune by one of Dubstep's favourite sons, Rusko. The tune is called 'Woo Boost' and it pretty much kicks arse, plus seems likely to be the song that takes Rusko's career to the next level.

Well worth a look are Rusko's tutorial videos that can be found on youtube simply by typing 'Rusko' and 'Tutorial' into the
search bar. If you wanna learn more about making Dubstep, these videos are really helpful, plus you get the sense from them that Rusko is a pretty cool guy.

SLK - Hype Hype (Dyester Remix)

Here for you to check out is my recently made remix of SLK's classic 'Hype Hype'.  It's an entry for a remix competiton, one where the entry date came a little too soon for me so this tune isn't quite as good as i wanted but it's definitely got something about it. Hope you enjoy.

Top Rated MC (1) - D Double E

For those of you who know about grime music and its history, it should come as no surprise that i feel the need to talk about one of the all-time top mcs - D Double E.  For those who don't know, early in his career he was part of the legendary 'Nasty Crew' home to other top mcs such as Ghetts and Kano, before going his separate ways working with Footsie, together as The Newham Generals (signed to Dizzee Rascals 'Dirtee Stank Records').
Basically, any grime mc that you rate, D Double E is probably their favourite mc. A dope mc but also entertaining just when he speaks, a true original, hopefully these two videos will elaborate for me...

Good Music

Not to sure what the rest of their music is like but, if you can make it through the unexplainably long intro, this song has definitely got the goods.

The First Of Many

To kick things off i'm going to post, for your listening pleasure, one of my favourite tunes i've made thus far, it's a hip hop beat entitled 'Walk With Me'.   I hope you enjoy...

A Warm Welcome From The 'Dyester'

As you can see from the photo above, I have always been a very charming and well mannered individual, and as such would like to extend a warm welcome to all those who find themselves here at my blog.  Obviously i wish to use this blog to promote to you the music i make, and anything else of an artistic nature for that matter, but as part of that process i hope to use this blog to convey general thoughts and feelings i'm having, and most likely a shed load of videos etc from other artists that i'm loving at the time.  I am always open to comments on any of my work and, or anything else i choose to post, so don't leave me lonely, make a contribution, interaction is a lovely thing.  So you can follow me here, or check out what i'm doing with my 'peep the traces' fam over at http://peepthetraces.blogspot.com/, and also there is much to come in terms of music and comedy from myself and my brother a.k.a. Dancing Shadows Of BriStar.
